Fast-rising singer, Seyi Shay recently changed her hairstyle, which has been generating reactions on the internet. She rocked a grey-hair, which stunned some of her fans. 

The mixed reactions seem to have prompted the singer to explain her choice of colour. Though sultry in appearance, the hair gives the singer a different ambiance and fashion sense.

She said, “The greatest [sic] thing about this hair is that it goes too well with the next 3 characters of my next 3 music video features and my single,

"Thanks for approving the hair you all. My real people's opinions count. Finally I can be myself! Because “different” is in! Do not be afraid to be different! I would rather be hated for being me than be hated for someone I am not."

Essence is one singer with a vocal power that can make her audience stay glued to her for a long time. Her sonorous voice like a morning bird was what attracted many good music lovers to her when she was then trying to make a name for herself in the industry some years ago.

The Delta State-born singer recently spoke about marriage and why she is yet to be walked down the aisle by any man. 

According to her, she has remained single because she is scared of having a failed marriage and stressed that nothing will happen if she decides not to give marriage a chance.

She said, “It bothers some people. Some think it is destiny. If you can work towards it, fine. It does not just work for everybody. If it happens, fine. If not, fine.

"Marriage is difficult. A lot of people in it are not enjoying it. Some are enjoying it. It is not just me. I would not be sent to hell if I do not get married.”

Wave making petite singer, Chidinma has revealed a touching secret of herself to her fans. The talented singer said if not for God, she would probably have not been who she is today.

 

Chidinma also expressed her gratitude to her parents, especially her mother, who she sad stood by her during her trying moments.

Revealing her most kept secret, Chidinma stated that she was born blind, but only opened her eyes on the 16th day. According to the singer, her new song, Martha, was dedicated to her mother, Mrs. Martha Ekile.

“The song Martha is dedicated to my mother Mrs Martha Ekile. I decided to show my fans a different side to Chidinma, a side never revealed to so many, a side I will forever remain grateful and indebted to Father Lord for His miraculous interventions and guidance in my life... I was conceived and certified totally blind at birth. 

“For fifteen nights this woman held me in her hands and wept uncontrollably, with my father calling on God to bless newly born Chidinma with sight.... On the 16th day I opened my eyes.... And they been open ever since.. I was born a very fragile baby with some health conditions. Her prayers took it all away. 

“Today I dedicate my entire life selflessly and earnings to catering to visually impaired/blind people. Life is such a wonderful and colorful piece of art and it must feel like hell not to envision Gods creation. THE Mma Charity Foundation is my little giveback the world,” she narrated.

Stevie Wonder is to be a father to triplets.

The 64-year-old singer and girlfriend Tomeeka Robyn Bracy - who gave birth to his eighth child last year - will welcome three babies into the world in 2015, and insiders say having kids is the key to the 'Superstition' star's happiness.

 

A source told the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column: "It's Stevie's mechanism for his happiness. I don't know that he set out to have 11 children, including triplets at his age, but it's not like he isn't happy about it or he can't afford children."

The legendary crooner - who has been married twice and has children with five different women - is said to have told friends he hasn't always been available for his kids when they needed him, but as he has grown older, he has developed closer bonds with his brood, who range in age from one to 39 years old.

A source said: "Aisha [his oldest] enjoys her dad quite a bit, they get together and eat and joke.

"He's been helping [his son] Mumtaz with some of Mumtaz's music and he always talks about how talented his son is.

"He knows that being a father is a full-time job and now that he's a little older, he feels like he's up to the task and he doesn't want to let any of them down."

May7ven At Loggerheads With Boyfriend Over Nigerian Men

Oluwayemisi May Odegbami also known as May7ven, has disclosed that her Ghanaian UK-based boyfriend is not happy about her decision to return to her fatherland because he fears Nigerian men.

According to the singer, she has been at loggerheads with her DJ boyfriend over the issue and fears the man does not trust her in handling Nigerian men. The singer disclosed that she has never given her man any reason to doubt her.

May7ven stated that contrary to her boyfriend’s views, Nigerian men are good, but aggressive and determined in the way they approach women. She added that they don’t give up which on a woman or any other thing. “They’re very focused and driven,” she told E247 in an interview.

The singer accused her father, the legendary Nigerian footballer, Segun Odegbami, for exposing them to hard times in the UK. She said her father allowed women into his life, which she said made him to dump her mother, Jumoke Odegbami, and her kids.

“For a long time, I felt resentment towards him for that, but as I grew older, I realized that being famous doesn’t necessarily mean you are rich. In fact, it makes it worse because you cannot ask for help. It was really tough for us because we had to walk to school and endure financial difficulty.

“All these make me appreciate my mother so much because her three children are doing well in our respective fields. My sister, Funmi Odegbami runs Mink, a UK-based Make-Up school, and was listed as one of the most influential black women in Europe. My brother, Junior Segun Odegbami, is also a computer guru,” she explained.

On accepting her step-mom, veteran TV host, Fumi Iyanda, May7ven revealed that she never liked her but had to accept the later love she felt for her while growing up.

“I realized how these relationships happen. You don’t plan who to fall in love with. At that point, even though my father was married, sometimes, he was not even seeing his wife for a whole year, so that can’t really be called a marriage. It’s not in my place to choose who he would be with for him,” she said.
