Kanye West drops latest studio album 'The Life of Pablo' on Tidal after 'SNL' show, claims he's $53M in debt

The wait is over for Kanye’s “The Life of Pablo.”
The hip-hop artist leaped from the stage with a flurry of unintelligible words after a “Saturday Night Live” performance, revealing that fans could finally hear his seventh studio album on Tidal.

Kanye's new album, "The Life of Pablo."

Those fans, hoping to hear what Kanye once described as "one of the greatest albums of all time," were briefly met with disappointment due to technical difficulties.
The album wouldn’t load on Tidal until nearly 2 a.m. and there was no sign of T.L.O.P. on KanyeWest.com at that time, either. Instead, Yasiin Bey — the artist formerly known as Mos Def — greeted fans with the same audio message that’s been looping on Kanye’s homepage since late January.

Yasiin Bey, formerly Mos Def, pleads to leave South Africa on Kanye West's website

Brooklyn-born rapper Yasiin Bey has released a message about his detention in South Africa with the help of his friend Kanye West’s website.
Echoing West’s new song about Los Angeles, Bey began a freestyle with lines saying there would be “no more parties in South Africa.”

Rapper Yasiin Bey, formerly known as Mos Def, issued a statement about his detention in South Africa for trying to use a world passport when leaving the country.
The hip-hop artist who formerly performed as Mos Def was detained for using a “world passport” when he tried to leave the country where he has been living for a show in Ethiopia.
South Africa’s Department of Home Affairs had said that the actor born as Dante Smith entered the nation in 2013 as an American, but then overstayed his visa along with members of his family.
