Finally, on her fifth try, the Howard Beach singer earned the coveted yellow ticket.

American Idol auditions, Kanye West surprised the judge

Kanye West surprised American Idol judges Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick, Jr., and Keith Urban with a joke audition.

The 38-year-old rapper arrived at auditions for the reality TV show in San Francisco over the weekend, where he performed his 2005 song Gold Digger a cappella.

 

And Kanye sailed through, coming out with a golden ticket to Hollywood.
