Apple and the FBI have both for the moment stood down in their
high-stakes standoff, with the government hacking into a dead San
Bernardino terrorist’s iPhone without the recalcitrant tech giant’s
help.
One down and hundreds more to go . With lives in the balance, the
encryption threat still cries out for a comprehensive solution .

point blank at barber Manny Montero and the client sitting in his
chair.

Suge Knight's family can't pay him any more prison visits, judge rules
Jailed rap mogul Suge Knight has been stripped of family visitation and phone calls in a surprise move his fiancée called "unfair" Wednesday.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge halted Knight's access to his
parents, children and spiritual advisers in a decision handed down
Friday under seal.
The change was requested by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department
as Knight remains locked up on charges he ran over two men with his
truck — killing one of them — outside a burger restaurant in Compton in
January 2015.

Caitlyn Jenner reaches first settlement following fatal February Car Crash
The reality star reached a settlement on Monday with Jessica
Steindorff, who was driving one of the four cars involved in the tragic
Pacific Coast Highway accident back in February that left one woman
dead, TMZ is reporting.
Steindorff, a Hollywood agent who represents Victoria's Secret model
Alessandra Ambrosio, sued Jenner in June after she claimed the accident
caused her serious medical injuries and lost wages.
It's unknown how much compensation Steindorff received in the
settlement, which was reportedly paid entirely by Jenner's insurance
company.
But Jenner is hardly out of the woods yet, as she still faces two other lawsuits from others affected by the crash — including relatives of the woman who died, Kim Howe.
In the accident, the 66-year-old Jenner, who still identified as Bruce
Jenner at the time, rear-ended Howe's Lexus sedan and pushed it into
oncoming traffic, where she was fatally hit by a Hummer SUV filled with
five people.
