Smartphone manufacturing company, Tecno,
has commenced the installation of solar-powered street lights in Ikeja
area of Lagos State where the company’s head office is located.
The Managing Director, Tecno Nigeria, Chidi Okonkwo, said the iFLUX energy lights had 24 months guarantee.
He said although the 88 street lights
belonged to the community, Tecno had taken the time to ensure steady
maintenance would be carried out on the lights to avoid being run down.
