FASHION DESIGNER TOMMY HILFIGER TO WED FRIDAY NIGHT

Fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger has tied the knot.He and Dee Ocleppo are set to wed in a private ceremony in Greenwich, Conn., at his sprawling estate, his rep tells Usmagazine.com."We wanted to do it before Christmas," Hilfiger told the New York Post.Both are expected to wear Hilfiger jackets at the ceremony; a justice of the peace will perform the vows, the Post reported.

The happy couple -- who will honeymoon in Mustique, a private island in the West Indies -- are planning a New Year's party to celebrate. Hilfiger and Ocleppo (who has been sporting an 8.2-carat diamond engagement ring) were originally slated to wed in the summer but called it off.

"It became complicated because Dee's children live in Italy and her ex-husband didn't want them to live here," Hilfiger told the Post of Ocleppo, who was formerly married to the 1980s Italian tennis star Gianni Ocleppo. "So Dee and I decided to postpone things. We still see each other all the time."The two met three years ago in St. Tropez through friends.Hilfiger was previously married to Susie Hilfiger, the creative director of Best & Co.
