The 2015 general elections in Nigeria is gradually gathering
momentum and those nursing the ambition to vie for public offices have
started making arrangements to make it a reality. In Lagos, the race to
succeed Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola come May 29, 2015, is what is
paramount to some political parties and their members.
One of the people nursing that ambition to rule Lagos in 2015 is Jimi Agbaje, who lost out to the incumbent governor in 2007, when the then Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) decided to push Fashola as its candidate rather than Agbaje.
Already, some set of Nollywood stars have started campaigning for him to become the next Lagos State governor.
For some time now, there have been a ‘4NL’ campaign, which means ‘For New Lagos’ and some Nigerian entertainers have identified themselves with it.
But now, they have revealed the reason behind the campaign, and have also openly rooted for Agbaje’s choice to rule Lagos in 2015.
