Barcelona hand teen ace new deal to ward off Arsenal interest

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has moved to fend off an Arsenal bid for rising star Munir by giving him a mega new contract.

The 19-year-old has broken into the Barcelona first team this season and has also won his first senior cap for Spain.Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has moved to fend off an Arsenal bid for rising star Munir by giving him a mega new contract

That alerted Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, who seems to have had a hotline to the latest Barcelona superstars ever since he snapped up Cesc Fabregas at the age of 15.

Enrique is aware of Wenger's interest, however, and feared Munir's £10million buy-out clause would not be enough to deter a Premier League raid on his latest starlet.
