If you want to live the fairy tale you should be ready to pay up.
The Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills has created an extravagant
“Pretty Woman for a Day” package to mark the 25th
anniversary of the romantic comedy.
Couples looking for a glamorous getaway inspired by the Julia
Roberts/Richard Gere flick, which was filmed at the California hotel, can
spring for the $100,000 ultimate experience, the most expensive of the three
package options.
This includes a one-night stay in the Presidential Suite — aka prostitute Vivian and customer
Edward’s room — and a three-hour shopping spree on Rodeo Drive. Guests will
have a personal shopping consultation and a $2,000 spending allowance during
what should be a rude store clerk-free trip.
Couples can opt for a manicure and pedicure at the spa’s Nail Bar and
pamper themselves with Diamond Luxury Lift Facials and massages.
Guests will also get whisked away in a Rolls-Royce to Greystone Mansion
for a charming “shoeless” picnic that includes a musical serenade.
The romantic evening portion will consist of dinner on the Veranda Suite
Terrace and a show at the L.A. Opera or the Wallis Annenberg Center for the
Performing Arts.
“Throughout your stay, we’ll inspire you with stills from the movie,
allowing you and your sweetheart to mimic classic scenes for exclusive
photography opportunities,” the package description reads.
“Pretty Woman” fans who want to experience some of the glitz without paying
$100,000 can opt for the Deluxe ($15,000) or Premier ($22,500) tiers of the
package. The deluxe includes accommodations in a deluxe Beverly Suite, two
hours with a personal shopper, a two-hour picnic and a 60-minute couples
massage.
The Premier level includes a night in the Veranda Suite, a three-hour
picnic with a musical serenade, a $1,000 clothing allowance (per person) and
90-minute couples massages.
