Teen dies in Staten Island dirt-bike fall: police

An 18-year-old man was killed Sunday night in Staten Island after he fell off a dirt bike and hit his head, sources said.

Joseph Todisco of Colony Ave. in Midland Beach lost control of the bike around 7:40 p.m. at Midland Ave. and Hylan Blvd., police sources said. He was riding west on Midland Ave.

Todisco was taken to Staten Island University Hospital, where he later died, according to police.
