Apart from success, fans seem to love nothing more than loyalty from their players, but in the big business that modern football has become, how much does a club show?

That is a tricky question with which to quantify an answer, but a study by the CIES Football Observatory can be used to shed some light on the subject.
By looking at the number of seasons players have had in the first team squad over the past six years, the CIES have calculated an average stay for every top flight club across Europe.
It makes for some pretty interesting reading and certainly dispels a few myths around the longevity of a player’s career at certain Premier League clubs.
But which club offers players on average the most amount of time in the first team?
