Chris Pratt hopes he never runs into Kim Kardashian.
The “Jurassic World” star reveals in the June issue of GQ
that he would prefer to avoid the reality star because he is
embarrassed by an off-color joke he made about her several years ago.
One of the Pratt’s first-ever roles was in 2009 porn comedy “Deep in the Valley,” in which Kardashian had a small role.
“She’d never really done an acting gig before,” the movie star said. “She was so f---ing sweet, and she was nervous.”
But Pratt was the nervous one when he ran into Kardashian on an
airplane years later, since by that point, a lewd joke he made about her
had gone viral.
While filming the fourth season of “Parks and Recreation,” the star
improvised a raunchy joke about Kardashian during a scene in which his
co-stars named public figures who had made successful comebacks.
While he felt the joke was "very, very funny," he also thought it
shouldn't be made public, and asked that the footage not be added to the
show’s DVD gag reel.
Unfortunately for Pratt, the clip made its way to the Internet and has logged more than 2 million views to date. (The clip can be viewed here.)
“So it's really kind of a bummer,” Pratt said. "She probably doesn't
know or doesn't care, I'm sure, but I don't like to make jokes at other
people's expense, if I can help it.”
“I like to keep my jokes about people safely way behind their backs,” he added.
“I'm a s--t-talker, but if I'm gonna make a joke at someone's expense, I'll do it so that they can never hear it.”
The June issue of GQ hits newsstands May 26.
