A leading maker of home appliances with
outstanding colour designs has opened a showroom in Lagos as
part of its plan to expand consumer touch points in Nigeria as it
reaffirms its commitment to delivering quality customer service,
counting on its years of experience in the business.
The official unveiling of the Nexus brand shop in Nigeria
witnessed by a large crowd of enthusiasts, media and celebrities
which included top Yoruba actress, Mercy Aigbe; Wazobia
FM popular on air personality, Yaw; musical artiste, Skales; Uti
Nwachukwu of the Big Brother fame, amongst others, promised
uncompromised quality and affordability for all its products in
Nigeria with a two-year warranty for consumer convenience.
Speaking to journalists at the event on the launching of the
home appliances, managing director, Deekay Group, Kavine C.
Vaswani, said, “We have been around growing with the range
of our products for 10 – 15 years now. The Nexus arrangement has
been around for 10 years and everything we have done is as a result
of our partnership with China, India and our source from Hong
Kong”.
“So we provide much quality control and designing and
branding from our sources and our own origins.
This is the right time to bring our products to the
doorstep of consumers rather than relying on distributors
and wholesalers. This way we feel we can get the products hand
on to the man on the streets. This is our objective and desires to
get closer to our consumers rather than being away or being at
back stage”.
As part of their unique service, Vaswani said, “We do provide
after sales service and that is one aspect if anyone requires our
need, saying that we are here to push our warranty pay so that
no one can feel that any product bought from us will not be serviced
tomorrow.
Also, we do provide a wide range of colours and space that an
average brand might not provide.
“We have done enough research with partners in India and
China on our products before they are shipped to make sure
that during transit or product site, they will last long
and withstand power surge for an average Nigerian user and most
importantly we provide spare parts of our products.”
