It was a blistering 110 degrees outside—and
it was just as hot in the gym when Hillary Clinton faced a barrage of
press questions Tuesday about her use of private email when she was
secretary of state.
When asked after a town hall event if she’d “wiped the server,” she grew irritated.
“What, like with a cloth or something?” she said derisively. “I don’t know how it works digitally at all.”
Clinton admitted it would have been a better idea to use a government
email account instead of installing a server in her Chappaqua home and
using a private account.
"In retrospect, this didn't turn out to be convenient at all and I
regret that this has become such a cause celebre,” she said. “I know
there’s a certain level of anxiety or interest in this but the facts are
the facts.”
As Clinton went to leave, she threw her hands in the air at a shouted
question about whether the email issue was hurting her campaign.
“Nobody talks to me about it other than you guys,” she told reporters.
