The topless painted ladies were scarce Thursday in Times Square. It
wasn’t until just before 6 p.m. that one of them ventured out to take
pics with tourists.
Meanwhile, one of the Times Square handlers landed before a judge in Manhattan Criminal Court.
“This defendant is also a so-called manager of a topless woman in Times
Square, who has been soliciting tips for photos,” Assistant District
Attorney Meghan O’Brien said.
Olivieri, 25, was nabbed Wednesday on a warrant for failing to appear
in court on a trespassing charge on the same day Mayor de Blasio
convened a special task force to drive guys like him — and the jiggly
women who work for him — out of business.
Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Ann Scherzer set bail at $2,000 bond or
$1,000 cash after Olivieri turned down an offer to plead guilty and
serve 30 days in jail.
His attorney, Lawrence Omansky, said he expected his client would post bail Thursday. He is due back in court Oct. 14.
O’Brien revealed this was Olivieri’s fourth arrest this year — and that he has a history of threatening women.
Olivieri was charged with aggravated harassment for texting his
girlfriend: "Every time I see you, I'm going to f--k you up," the
prosecutor said.
