Meet the nudelyweds.
Philadelphia couple Blair Delson and Ross Cohen shared their wedding
day with the Philly Naked Bike Ride — and ended up with some memorable
pictures from their big day.
The bride and groom were posing for snaps near Philadelphia City Hall
on Aug. 29 when the mass of 3,000 nude cyclists descended.
“They crowded around them, cheered and shared some high-fives.”
The couple — currently enjoying their honeymoon in Hawaii — were happy with the unusual addition to their wedding photographs.
"It was such a fun time when we were doing it. We thought it was hilarious," Delson said to ABC News.
"The whole wedding process is so stressful and there's so much going
on. And when we were out there, we were just laughing our pants off,
having such a great time."
And Gidjunis, who runs his own studio JPG Photography, said he decided to blur some of their genital areas due to the explicit nature of some of the photos.
Organizers of the annual event, which is linked to the World Naked Bike
Ride movement, say they hope it encourages people to cycle more and to
embrace nudity as a normal and enjoyable part of life.
