A model who filed a police report in January claiming she was drugged
and sexually assaulted by Bill Cosby at the Playboy mansion in 2008
filed a civil lawsuit Tuesday against the fallen comic.
Chloe Goins,
24, claims in the lawsuit that Cosby spiked her drink and she “blacked
out” during a party at the famed den of debauchery when she was only a
teen. She "immediately began feeling sick to her stomach and dizzy"
after drinking a beverage that Cosby handed to her, according to the
suit.
She woke up naked in a bed and felt as if someone had been licking parts of her body, the suit says.
Cosby was masturbating and “biting one of her toes as he crouched at the end of the bed," according to the lawsuit.
“I have chosen to relive the ordeal of this deeply traumatic attack to
expose the truth and bring justice for all the victims of sexual assault
across the nation,” Goins said in a statement.
Last week, the Los Angeles Police Department reportedly turned over the
results of their criminal probe into Goins' allegations to the District
Attorney's Office.
Goins is one of roughly 50 women who claim that Cosby drugged them and sexually assaulted or raped them.
Twenty-seven of his accusers will share one stage Friday night in a group interview on an NBC Dateline special.
The women – who range in age from 46 to 80 – will detail their experiences and respond to skepticism about their claims.
"I believe it's healing and it's cathartic to be able to talk to each
other. To look around and be together," alleged victim Sunni Welles said
in the upcoming "The Cosby Accusers Speak" special.
Cosby has never been charged with any crime. His lawyers have repeatedly claimed the 78-year-old is innocent.
Goins’ lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles seeks
punitive damages for a variety of problems she says she has endured
since the incident, including mental anguish, loss of self-esteem and
dignity.
“Ms. Goins at no time gave Bill Cosby consent to touch her body in any
way, let alone in a sexual manner,” according to the suit.
On Friday, Cosby is slated to give a sworn deposition regarding a lawsuit filed by accuser Judy Huth.
In that suit, filed in December, Huth claimed Cosby abused her when she was 15 at the Playboy Mansion.
