Matt Ritchie and Steven Fletcher scored memorable goals for
Scotland against Poland last night, as they saw their chances of
reaching Euro 2016 end.
On an emotional rollercoaster of a
night at Hampden Park, Ritchie – who scored an equally stunning goal for Bournemouth against Sunderland earlier in the season – equalised
on the stroke of half time with a left foot bullet, before Fletcher curled
in a classy goal minutes after the break.
However, Robert Lewandowksi scored
his second of the night for Poland in added time to stop Gordon Strachan's men
recording a famous win. The draw means Scotland can't qualify for Euro 2016 as
they sit fourth in Group D.
