Tottenham starlet Alex Pritchard is
facing a lengthy period on the sidelines after undergoing ankle surgery.
The forward struggled to shake off the injury sustained at the Under-21 European Championships
in the summer and has made just one appearance for the first team
this season.
And now the north London club have
announced the 22-year-old has gone under the knife and will be out for the
remainder of 2015.
Spurs had harboured hopes that
Pritchard would make the step-up to the first team this term having enjoyed
productive loan spells at Peterborough, Swindon and Brentford in the last three seasons.
