The Russian international has struggled to make an impact
under Rafael Benitez this season after excelling on loan at Villarreal.
And that has led to speculation linking the winger with a
move to Arsenal, Chelsea or Manchester United.
That looks even more likely after Cheryshev admitted
'communication is poor' with Benitez as he was called up by Russia for games
with Portugal and Croatia.
"You do everything for the better," he told Marca.
"This is what happened and I have no regrets. I have no
problem with Benitez, but it's true that communication is poor.
"I don't agree [that my morale is low as a result]. I'm
in good spirits.
"Of course you want to play more, but the situation
isn't easy. You have to be strong and look forward."
