The shocking scenes in the Miami Beach branch went viral as it shows the wild women exchanging vicious punches and pulling hair late Saturday.
Witnesses claimed the customer was being loud and drunk, provoking the vicious reaction from employees, according to NBC Miami. They are seen throwing cups and punches at the woman, and even grab her by the hair at one point.
Dozens of customers were inside the store when the incident took place
at the restaurant on Washington Ave. near 15th St. on Halloween night.
Representatives from the popular burger chain said the behavior of all
involved was despicable and confirmed that an investigation has been
launched.
”The actions displayed in this video are simply unacceptable,” said Five Guys area supervisor Tina Holley in a statement.
“We are working with the franchise owner to do a full investigation and ensure appropriate disciplinary actions are taken.”
Miami Beach police said they didn't receive any calls to their dispatch center from the location over the fight.
"Safety is our number one priority,” said Miami Beach police spokesman
Ernesto Rodriguez. “As always, anyone who witnesses any sort of criminal
activity or disturbance is urged to call police immediately."
Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine said it brought further disgrace to the
district, and is campaigning to improve the area’s image.
