This "Desperate Housewives" star is about to be a wife again.
Actress Eva Longoria got engaged to boyfriend Jose Antonio Baston over the weekend in Dubai, she revealed on Instagram on Sunday.
"Ummmm so this happened….#Engaged," she posted on Instagram, along with a photo of her kissing her new fiancé in the desert with her engagement ring in plain sight.
The "Devious Maids" star, 40, has been married twice before, first to
soap opera actor Tyler Christopher from 2002 to 2004, and then to NBA
point guard Tony Parker from 2007 to 2011.
She was first seen out with Baston in November of 2013, when they
attended the Museo Jumex opening dinner together in Mexico City.
The 46-year-old Baston may not be as well-known as Longoria's former
flames, but he might be even more prestigious. He's the president of
Televisa, the biggest Spanish-speaking media conglomerate in the world.
The newly engaged couple has remained relatively out of the spotlight during their time dating, but sources told Us Weekly that Baston always treats Longoria very well.
"He's super sweet to her and a complete gentleman," an insider told the magazine shortly after they began dating.
Ana Ortiz, a close friend of Longoria and her co-star on "Devious Maids, seconded this sentiment, telling People that she's "never seen her happier" after she began dating Baston.
"I am so thrilled that she has someone who is not intimidated by her
and who is not afraid by her power, her beauty, her friendship and her
drive," Ortiz told the magazine.
Longoria, meanwhile, raved about Baston to the magazine in 2014.
"I'm attracted to humor and intellect in a man," she said. "Let me tell you, I'm very lucky in my life."
