Fenerbahce defender Caner Erkin is set to snub interest from Liverpool and join Inter Milan, according to reports in Italy.
The 27-year-old has been heavily linked with a switch to the Premier League this summer, with Chelsea and Stoke also keen on the Turkish international.
Fenerbahce are reluctantly coming round to the idea that the left-back will leave this summer but are still trying to tie him down to a new contract to avoid losing him on a free.
But Erkin has reportedly refused to enter negotiations with his current employers and now, according to Corriere dello Sport, Inter are close to agreeing a three-year deal with the player.
Liverpool have regularly scouted Erkin this season and Jurgen Klopp is a big admirer of the defender but the Reds appear to have fallen short in the race to land the former CSKA Moscow man.
