A Jersey Shore alum was wowed by backlash she received on social media.
Critics slammed Jenni "JWoww" Farley on Instagram Sunday for not putting sunscreen on her 2-month-old son, Greyson.
In the adorable snap, the newborn was wading in the pool with his father, and Farley's husband, Roger Mathews.
“Way [too] small for a pool,” one user said.
Another chimed in, “Put sunscreen on that child.”
But the reality star set the record straight in a second photo in which
she shared her homemade sunscreen made especially for the baby.
“Not even sure why I am even doing this but I feel like schooling
people on my previous post,” she wrote. “First off, my son is two months
and in a salt water pool up to his belly... Probably for a total of 3
minutes. But second is where I need to really educate trolls... Let me
explain to the haters that decided to comment about no sunscreen and the
dangers bla bla bla.”
She added, "My son actually does have sunscreen on. It’s the same
concept as diaper cream. Probably even better than the crap s--t you
lather your children in. Remember a--holes im in the tanning industry
and pride myself on knowing this."
One of the original "GTL" gals, Farley, 30, owns a line of indoor
tanning lotions and bronzers in partnership with Australian Gold.
Her handmade lotion for baby Greyson includes a mix of coconut oil, zinc oxide and carrot seed oil.
Mathews, 41, and the MTV star also have a 1-year-old daughter, Meilani.
