Out with the old, in with the new.

A team of roughly 100 movers will have six hours to pack up the Obamas
and move the Trumps into the White House on Friday afternoon, according
to a source familiar with the executive moving process.
“Not only is the government turning around, the house is, too,” we’re
told. According to our insider, Melania Trump, who will be staying on
Fifth Ave. with the First Family’s furniture for the time being, will
play a “very hands-on” role in decorating the White House.
“They’re definitely not going to live with the Obamas’ furniture, which
is more modern and sleek,” we’re told. “They prefer a look that’s more
classic and European-influenced.”
We also hear that “Melania helped design their Trump Tower apartment
and her mom’s unit in Trump Tower — she’ll have a big influence on the
White House.”
Even though the First Lady will be staying in New York until the
Trumps’ son Barron finishes the school year, we’re told she’ll still
keep a wardrobe and toiletries in the White House, where she’ll
frequently attend presidential events.
“They have a plane,” says our source. “She’s not going to be as absentee as people think. (The President) wants her there.”
We’re also told that at least two guest rooms are being prepared for the
weekend. Our insider couldn’t confirm who’d be staying there, but it's
likely for family.
“Vladmir Putin will probably stay in the Lincoln Bedroom,” jokes our spy.
We’re also told that The Donald, who has said he won’t take a salary as
President, has also been telling friends he’ll foot the bill for the
furniture. “Donald has told friends that he’s not taking public money to
decorate the house,” we’re told. The President’s team did not return a
request for comment.
Though white rugs and gold columns aren’t thought to be part of the decorating plan, stains won’t be an issue.
“This will be the first First Family in the White House without a dog
in a long time,” we’re told. “There’s no babyproofing or child-proofing
necessary, either.”
The Obamas began moving into their new D.C. home earlier in the week.
