Today, I received at my office Zion Oshiobugie @theacademicmentor, a
Tony Elumelu entrepreneur based in Warri, a teacher and motivational
speaker.
10 years ago Zion was a houseboy.
He decided to turn his life around. Today, he is an educator
investing in the lives of children in his local community. In 2015, Zion
received seed capital from the Tony Elumelu Foundation to expand his
business. He now runs multiple centers across Delta State, Nigeria.
I was very impressed by this young man’s zeal and singularity of
purpose. It goes to show that when you put your mind towards
accomplishing something, the universe will conspire to make it happen.
I also met Tochukwu Nwafor a tech entrepreneur with some truly revolutionary ideas – and a 2016 Tony Elumelu entrepreneur.
I’m very proud of these two Tony Elumelu entrepreneurs that I met
today. They have already accomplished a lot so far, and I can’t wait to
see what else life has in store for them.
Young Africans need stepping stones. The @tonyelumelufoundation will continue to give hope and economic opportunity to them.
