Relatives of the late Michael Jackson say there’s a lot of
misinformation making the rounds regarding the King of Pop’s 15-year-old
son Blanket, who has reportedly been left to fend for himself in a
massive California mansion. We’re told that the youngest child of the
legendary “You’re Not Alone” singer has been anything but.

“Blanket does not live alone,” says an exasperated source close to the
Jacksons. “T.J. and his wife and their four kids live at the Calabasas
estate along with a chef, housekeeper and two nannies.”
We’re assured that T.J., the 38-year-old son of Jackson 5 guitarist
Tito, with whom matriarch Katherine shares custody of Blanket, has
alternately been caring for the teenager. T.J. also has a home 40 miles
outside of Calabasas.
Rumors ran rampant that Blanket was home alone when Katherine went to
London last month to help her 51-year-old daughter Janet take care of
her newborn baby. We’re told Katherine has been back in California for
some time now, often staying in an apartment owned by Janet.
Of course, this being the Jacksons, everything’s off the wall.
“The only reason Mrs. Jackson had not returned to the Calabasas estate,
which is across the street from (reality TV actress) Kourtney
Kardashian's home, is because her nephew Trent was still living in the
guest house,” says our insider.
Katherine got a temporary restraining order against her nephew in
February, accusing him of elder abuse that included keeping her from
communicating with family members. She dropped her case for a permanent
restraining order in April, and Trent has since left the home.
Despite the fact that Blanket’s 86-year-old caregiver once required a
caregiver of her own, Grandma Jackson is very much in the picture —
literally. On Wednesday, Blanket’s sister Paris posted, then deleted, an
Instagram photo of the Jackson family — including Blanket — spending
Mother’s Day together.
“I don’t know where this bad info is coming from,” said our insider.
