Kim Kardashian revealed her daughter North, 4, is not a huge fan of her
little brother Saint, 1, and it's evidently a problem that's not going
away.
"I don't know if it's because she's the older sister. I don't know what it is," Kardashian said while co-hosting "Live with Kelly and Ryan"
alongside Ryan Seacrest on Monday. "I thought it was a phase. She does not like her brother and it's so hard for me."
Kardashian explained that jealousy is an issue for North when it comes
to her younger brother, and she sometimes tries to box him out by
inviting her famous mother to girls-only tea parties. That means her
father, rapper Kanye West, is excluded too.
"She would get so jealous when I would breastfeed and all that kind of
stuff," Kardashian said of North. "And now, the phase isn't going away."
Kardashian, 36, and West, 40, are currently trying for a third child,
with People reporting in June that the duo had enlisted a surrogate
after doctors told Kardashian it wouldn't be medically safe for her to
get pregnant again.
That's not the only animosity that Kardashian addressed during her
appearance on "Live." She also told Seacrest that she still doesn't have
"much of a relationship" with Caitlyn Jenner, who published a memoir earlier this year that frequently made her mother Kris Jenner look bad.
"We're family, so I do believe that maybe this is just a phase,"
Kardashian said Monday. "I feel like there's been so much hurt and pain
with Caitlyn and my mom, and at the end of the day, I'll always ride for
my mom."
Kardashian said she plans to remain positive in hopes that the tension eventually gets resolved.
