MTV EMAs 2017, Fashion talking points.

The MTV European Music Awards took place in London on Sunday 12 November 2017, There were plenty of highlights, with performances from Eminem, Camila Cabello, Rita Ora and Stormzy to name a few of the highlights. It was also a night to remember for the fashion, from the good to the bad and the downright eye-covering. See the EMAs talking points that we can't stop talking about.

Had she run out of time getting dressed? Was she pitching for a Mario Testino Towel Series? Either way, host for the night Rita Ora made the red carpet impact she was after, stepping out in a white Palomo Spain robe and head towel. Oh, and just £6 million worth of Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Demi Lovato took style notes from Kim Kardashian on how to keep an oversized suit looking sexy: go without a top. The singer wore her checked Styland suit with Giuseppe Zanotti platforms (not that you can see them). Not sure we would have gone for this look, but her fans were into it.

Hailey Balwin put her best feature(s) on display in a Tom Ford sequinned mini dress. Hailey is the undisputed queen on the mini dress.

Arriving on the red carpet, Camila Cabello wore a blush pink, sheer Ralph and Russo dress. As beautiful as the gown is, we much prefer it when Camilla goes a bit sassier for the red carpet.

Performing her hit song Havana, Camila Cabello chose a flamenco-style ensemble. Maybe not a look for the corner shop but it totally works for this performance.

Pixie Lott wore head-to-toe Dolce & Gabbana including a gold crown.

Lana Del Ray wore a vintage-style floral Gucci dress from the autumn winter 2017 collection.

Maya Jama wore a silk, button-up Mandarin collar dress from Alexa Chung's own label.

For her performance on stage, Demi Lovato wore a a black corset with bedazzled trousers.

Natalie Dormer jumped feet first into party season dressing wearing a bejewelled black jumper with a matching leather mini skirt and Diane Kordas jewels. We're not used to seeing this sort of look on Natalie, but we like it.
