AKS GOV UDOM REDUCES TARIFF FOR TRANSPORT OPERATORS

In a swift show of commitment towards alleviating the condition of living of the low income earners and boosting their economic ventures, AKS People-oriented Governor Udom Emmanuel has approved downward slash in the tariff of Township transport operators in the State.

By this development the annual registration and renewal tariff of operators of Township tricycle, taxi, mini-buses/ buses have been drastically reduced.

Annual registration for tricycle is now reduced to 2,500 from 3,500; taxi stands at 9000 against the former 26,000 while mini buses/buses are to register with just 10,000 against the hitherto whopping 32,000..

The annual renewal tariff is now slashed to 1500 for tricycle operators from 1700; taxi operators now renew their businesses with only 5000 from the huge 17,000 while mini-buses/buses also enjoy similar reduction from 17,000 to a paltry 5000.
