Nigeria Police Force has nabbed three principal suspects in the killing of about 40 persons in Zamfara State.
In a statement by the Force Public Relations Officer, Jimoh Moshood, the arrested suspects are assisting the police in their investigations.
Moshood gave the names of the suspects as Halilu Garba a.k.a Mabushi (45); Zubairu Marafa, alias Wakili (45); and Nafi’u Badamasi, also known as Zakiru (40).
“The above mentioned three (3) principal suspects have been arrested by the Nigeria Police Force for participating in the recent Zamfara Killings.
“The suspects who are now in Police custody are assisting the Police in the investigation into the Crime.
“...all suspects would be arraigned in court on completion of investigation.”
