Some 55 hours after a nationwide broadcast and exactly 2.30pm on Thursday, May 31, 2018, President Muhammadu Buhari signed into law the #NotTooYoungToRun Bill, describing it as a landmark piece of legislation that was conceived, championed and accomplished by young Nigerians.

While the President admitted that the youths are capable of transforming Nigeria in any of their chosen professions or as lawmakers or as state governors and even "someday as President," Buhari, however, begged the youths to postpone their presidential bid till after the 2019 elections.
