We all want the best for our children but thousands of parents are in debt, struggling to pay school fees at home and abroad.
If it is challenging to pay school fees each term, it is time to have the hard family conversations to determine whether or not to move them to
a more affordable option now or later.
Sadly “The Jones” have come into the “choice of school” decision, and sadly some parents struggle to keep kids in “fashionable” schools. They are trying keep up appearances and destroying their financial security.
Stop looking over your shoulder. Focus on your goals. You don't know everyone’s story. You don't even know if the school-fees are being paid for by someone else, if they borrowed or stole the money!
Remember that the most expensive schools aren’t necessarily the best, and the best school for YOUR child may not be the most expensive.
The best school is first, the one that you can afford, and second, one that offers your child a good learning environment.
Ideally, the best education should come from lessons learned at home. That is where you should put the most effort instilling the right values, about character, integrity, discipline, hardwork and about God.
These are far more important than the most expensive school in the world.
