A brand-new Boeing aircraft of Ethiopian Airlines is the second one to crash in less than six months minutes.
It would be recalled that a Lion Air flight went down over the Java Sea in late October, killing all 189 people on board.
The Boeing crash was on its way to Nairobi, Kenya with 149
passengers and eight crew members on-board before the unfortunate
incidence.
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed sadness over the crash.
“I am profoundly saddened by the news of the crash involving
Ethiopian Airlines, one of the world’s most successful and efficient
Airlines.
“On behalf of the government and people of Nigeria, I extend sincere
condolences to Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed of Ethiopia, and to all the
countries that lost citizens,” the President said.
