Celebrating Queen Margrethe II at 79...

On April 18, 2019, dignitaries gathered at the Embassy of Denmark in Abuja to join in the celebration of the 79th birthday anniversary of the Queen of Denmark, Her Majesty Alexandrine Thorhildur Ingrid Margrethe II.

The celebration was witnessed by top government officials and captains of industries.

The invited guests include: Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai; Edo State Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu; Minister of Foreign Affairs; Geoffrey Onyeama; wife of the Senate President, Toyin Saraki; and the Head of Delegation of European Union in Nigeria, Ketil Karlsen.

Others are: the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Mohammed Babandede; the Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dakuku Peterside; and the Maersk Regional Managing Director, Gildas Tohouo.

The Queen's birthday celebration was also witnessed by Ambassadors; High Commissioners; representatives from Danish companies; among others.
