Wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, recently attended the presentation of Digital Braille Qu'aran in Abuja.
The "special Qu'aran" was carefully designed for the blind students in Nigeria and it was anchored by Qatari Charity Foundation.
Beyond this presentation, a memorandum of understanding was also signed between the foundation and Mrs. Buhari's non-profit organisation, Future Assured.
In his remarks, the President's wife said: "It is a great pleasure for me to be part of the presentation of digital Braille Qu'aran to blind students drawn from across the country by Qatari Charity Foundation.
"Also, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the foundation and my Future Assured for a sustained collaboration to organise charity activities for the benefit of less privileged.
"I wish to urge others to emulate such kind gesture in the area of digital resources in order to improve our educational system."
