RT Briscoe in partner with Skye Bank on Ford Cars Purchase


Skye Bank Plc has gone into partnership with RT Briscoe by providing financing for the Ford brand of cars for people who may not have the bulk amount needed to purchase such cars.
Under the partnership arrangement, the bank will avail existing and prospective customers of the bank wishing to buy Ford cars during the six-month promo period of RT Briscoe by providing 70 per cent of the cost of such vehicles while the customer will contribute 30 per cent of the cost.

Etisalat, Airtel Emerge Biggest Gainers of Number Porting Scheme

The Nigerian affiliate of Etisalat, the Gulf’s biggest telecoms operator, and India’s Bharti Airtel, have again emerged the biggest beneficiaries of the Mobile Number Portability (MNP) scheme introduced by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) two years ago to address the issue of poor Quality of Service (QoS) by Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), according to data from NCC.

The introduction of the scheme allows holders of Nigeria’s over 183 million active mobile lines to retain their phone numbers when changing from one operator to another due to poor services without losing their numbers.

CBN amends Commercial Agric Credit scheme Guidelines

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) says it has revised the Commercial Agriculture Credit Scheme (CACS) introduced in April 2010.

 The amendment is contained in a circular issued by Mr Kelvin Amugo, the Director, Financial Policy and Regulatory Department, CBN, on Tuesday in Lagos.
