The 40-year-old Sarpong was the former co-host of MTV's "Yo Momma" diss
show along with actor Wilmer Valderrama, and he also modeled for Tommy
Hilfiger.

"It is with great sadness that the family of Samuel Sarpong Jr. must
share the news that Sam has passed away," his family said in a statement
obtained by Us Weekly.
"The family appreciates the thoughts and prayers and other expressions
of sympathy, and request that privacy be respected at this extremely
difficult time."
