Nigeria-The announcement by the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, that the federal government will privatise the nation’s petroleum products pipeline network has continued to elicit mixed reactions from stakeholders in the oil and gas industry.

The immediate past Minister of Power, Prof. Chinedu Nebo has clarified that the improvement in power supply across the country under President Muhammadu Buhari came as a result of the effort put into the revamping of the sector by former President, Goodluck Jonathan.

This was as he attributed the inability of the Jonathan’s administration to turn around the power sector to cabals in the system, who he said resorted to destroying gas pipelines just to sabotage Jonathan’s strides in the critical sector.
