A
Dubai dentist has created the world's most expensive dentures worth a
staggering $152,700.
With
ten grams of 24 pure carat gold and 160 sparkling encrusted diamonds it will
certainly provide that most wanted glittering smile.
And
its creators, the Liberty Dental Clinic, have even acquired the authenticity
and clarity certificate from the World Diamond Institute in Belgium.
However,
the owner of such a mouth piece wouldn't be able to show off their sparklers at
dinner — the dentures are a pure fashion piece and not to be worn while eating.
Dr
Majd Naji, of Liberty Dental Clinic, in Dubai, said he designed the dentures to
try and raise money for a children's charity Dubai Autism Centre.
He
added: 'Last year the people of the United Arab Emirates had bagged the title
of having the World's Happiest People. I then thought of designing this
beautiful piece and enhancing the smile of not just the owner but also a
charity.
'We'll
donate a large chunk of the proceeds from the sale of the denture to the
children's charity.'
To
bag these gorgeous fixtures it takes just two appointments and does not require
any drilling or filling teeth.
And
it's already popular amongst the rich in the UAE. One woman from the royal
family has put in an order and Dr Majd is already making another piece for a
Qatari customer but is hoping to get more orders from around the world.
'This
is a gorgeous brace and I'm hoping that more and more women will flock to my
clinic to get the dentures. Who doesn't want a sparkling smile?' Dr Majd added.
