A little girl got the chance to break some very exciting news to her
best friend — her wish of seeing Minnie Mouse was coming true.
Violet, 4, and Juniper, 3,
met while they were undergoing treatment for retinoblastoma, a type of cancer
that starts in the eye, at Seattle Children's Hospital.
Violet had already paid a visit to the happiest place on Earth in
December 2013, so when it was time for Juniper's trip, Make-A-Wish enlisted her to make
Juniper a bon voyage video, her mom said in a blog post.
In the clip, Violet, who is wearing a sparkling Cinderella dress and glittering
tiara, lays out some of the things her friend will get to do in Disneyland.
“You're going to twirl like a princess,” she says. “And do your
princess pose. And wave like a princess.”
Violet also tells her friend to “give Minnie and Mickey nose kisses.
“Juni, I love you! Have so much fun!” Violet says to the camera.
The heartwarming video was originally posted on MakeAWish
AKWA's YouTube page in October, which is when Juniper went to Disneyland.
However, it viral after it was added to the Make-A-Wish America YouTube
channel and picked up by BuzzFeed and several other outlets.
Both girls are currently in remission.
