DON LULU’S GRAND MOTHER (NGALEZE ) GOES BACK TO SCHOOL @90

His entrant was as dramatic as it was significant. He didn’t need to come, he could have given one excuse or another to justify his absence, after- all, he is a very busy man, sitting atop the board of 2Flame ENT, an international record label and entertainment outfit, he is equally,  Mayor for Peace, UN-POLAC.  Better still, he could have sent words or even a cash donation through a proxy.

Nelson Secondary School welcome GRAND MOTHER (NGALEZE )

But he chose to come and come he did with his 90 year old Grandma Mrs. Ngaleze Ogu, who never had the opportunity to see the four walls of a secondary school. He came because it was a clarion call from home. But most importantly, it was a call from Nelson Secondary School, the only middle school in his village. He saw in the invitation, an opportunity to launch his Back-to-school campaign. The initiative is designed to encourage youths of school age, who are unable to do so for whatever reason.

Nelson Secondary School, privately owned by a foremost educationist in Umuawa-Alaocha had named one of the school houses after him and extended an invitation to him on their 2015 Annual Inter House Sports Competition held on the 13th of March, 2015.

White House renamed Don LULU HOUSE came overall second in the event, enough to warrant exclusive largest from its patron but Lulu is not given to winner take all modus. Equitable, just and fair spread remains his watchword.  The implication is that RED, BLUE, YELLOW AND WHITE HOUSES who competed fiercely for the crown did not only come together for a group photograph with Don LULU, patron of WHITE HOUSE but shared in the over 1000 exercise books  and an undisclosed cash donated by him.

Hear him; “I am a firm believer in truth, equity, justice and fair play. I do not believe that the winner should take it all. I believe in practices that will encourage good sportsmanship, I believe in friendship, brotherhood, I believe in humanity, I believe in our youths and most importantly, I believe in peace and peaceful coexistence. So in that culture, on behalf of my grandma who came to school today for the first time in her entire life at age 90, I extend a hand of friendship to Nelson Secondary School, its students and the entire youth of Umuawa community in particular and Abia state in general. I encourage each and every one of us to embrace peace for only in it shall we find growth and development. However in all of these, education is the key to success”
