Nicki Minaj wasn't feeling this version of herself — or at least how it was treated.
Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas is buffing up security around the
"Anaconda" rapper's wax figure and redesigning it after tourists took
inappropriate pictures with the scantily clad replica that's posed on
all fours.
Madame Tussauds unveiled the world's first Nicki Minaj wax figure In Las Vegas on August 4. |
"Madame Tussauds attractions are interactive, immersive experiences, and
our visitors are generally respectful towards the wax figures," it said
in a statement Tuesday. "It is unfortunate that this visitor decided to
behave so inappropriately and we apologize for any offense this has
caused."

The famed wax museum blamed the decision on just one bad egg, without
naming the particular incident, but social media images show a baker's
dozen of pranksters posing in naughty ways.
In the most obvious example, a man posed as though having sex with
Minaj from behind. Other visitors posed grabbing or licking the figure's
buttocks.
"Why must yall b this way," Minaj wrote on Twitter with a sad face
emoji about a picture of a woman with her mouth to the figure's behind.
When another woman posed with her tongue on the figure, Minaj commented, "naw b---- hold on."
And when a man hugged the replica with his hand on Minaj's butt, she said, "Ok u know da fuq wut."
The figure, which was revealed two weeks ago, is based off Minaj's music video for "Anaconda."
Minaj said she "had no idea they were really doing this" when the figure was presented Aug. 4.
"YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO did they rlly do this???!!!!!! Omgggggggg," she wrote.
Although Minaj said she loved the replica, Azealia Banks foretold what would happen to it based on the disrespectful placement.
"Wow, they finally give nicki minaj a wax figure and it's a statue of
her bent over on all fours…. White people yo…" Banks said on Twitter.
"As much as that woman has accomplished, they had to put her on all
fours…Why not standing up with a mic in her hand???"
"All ppl are gonna do is go up to that statue and take pictures shoving
their crotch in her face and putting their crotch on her butt."
Minaj had previously spoken out about treatment of the "Anaconda"
video, saying it was snubbed for nominations for the MTV Video Music
Awards because she's a "different kind of artist."
Her comments briefly led to an online scuffle with Taylor Swift, who led VMA nominations, before they made up over the miscommunication.
