Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas, The 28-year-old was on the cusp of heading to Old Trafford in the summer as part of a deal which would have seen David De Gea go the other way.
However, the transfer collapsed in
the final hours of the window and Navas remained at Madrid.
And now, according to Marca, the
Costa Rica international will be rewarded with a new deal after staying put in
Spain.
United have already extended De
Gea's contract at Old Trafford and Madrid are now to follow suit with their own
number one.
