3. Sunday, September 18th is the Brooklyn Book festival
where over 200 authors gather with fans to wear their bookworm badge of
pride. The festival is New York City's largest free literary festival,

5. The Brew Hop 5K + Craft Beer Festival is this
Sunday, September 18th. The day starts off with the 5K race in which
participants can run or walk. The finish line leads into a festival
featuring the best local breweries in NYC. Enjoy a beautiful day on
Randall's Island with unlimited brews from Brooklyn Brewery, Sixpoint

6. The Social Good Summit is taking place September 18th- 19th and New
York Daily News social justice editor, Shaun King, will be speaking
Sunday. The Social Good Summit is a two-day conference examining the
impact of technology and new media on social good initiatives around the
world. The summit unites a dynamic community of global leaders and
grassroots activists who discuss findiong solutions to some the greatest
