Ariana Grande is apologizing One Last Time.
The "Problem" singer took to YouTube to issue another apology for her
doughnut shop behavior, where she was caught on tape licking doughnut
and saying "I hate America."
From her bed where she is resting after wisdom teeth removal surgery,
Grande explained how much she has learned from the "whole donut fiasco
and craziness," and addressed that her original apology didn't feel
sincere because she was too busy "preaching about my issues with the
food industry, which is not, I feel like, relative."
"Now is my chance before the whole thing blows over to say sorry and
that actually I've never been prouder to be an American, to be honest
with you," she shared. "Advances that we've made in the past couple
months and all the wonderful, progressive things that have been going
on, I've never been prouder of this country, actually."
Grande admits that seeing an actual video of her behavior was a game
changer for her and that she was "embarrassed" to watch it.
"Seeing a video of yourself behaving poorly, that you have no idea was
taken, is such a rude awakening," she continued. "It's like you don't
know what to do. I was so disgusted with myself. I shoved my face in a
pillow and wanted to disappear."
"I made a mistake and I'm being judged for it. I understand because I
watched it and I was just as disappointed in myself," she said. "I'm
22-years-old. I'm human. I've still got a lot to learn and I make
mistakes and that's how I'm going to learn. I'm going to learn from my
mistakes and learn by messing up and that's how we grow."
"Not here to make any excuses or justify my behavior, because I can't," she adds. "I'm just here to apologize."
This is the second time the singer was addressed her behavior. The
starlet took to Twitter to issue an apology on Wednesday and attributed
her behavior to her concern with child obesity.
