finally accepted the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his
role as Don Draper in "Mad Men" after been nominated for the role for
a total of 8 times. Hamm accepted the top prize from Tina Fey after hilariously
clambering onto the stage before thanking "families who have chosen, for
some reason, to take me in and be nice to me along this strange, strange
road."
Tracy Morgan
More than a year after a car
accident left him in a serious condition and killed his friend Jimmy McNair,
Tracy Morgan returned to the stage for a surprise appearance at the Emmys on
Sept. 20, 2015. "It's been a long road back," he went on. "I
suffered a traumatic brain injury that put me in a coma for eight days,"
Morgan said which saw him receive at standing ovation from the audience. Morgan
took to the stage to present the award for best drama series, which went to
"Game of Thrones."

the stage with Jane Lynch to serve up a quippy opening monologue complete with
some hilarious jokes. "Tonight, instead of being played off by the orchestra,
you're going to have to deal with the mean nun from Game of Thrones. So keep
those speeches tight," Samberg said as Glee's Jane Lynch walked on stage
shouting "Shame! Shame! Shame!" in a nun's robe.
