Now you can wear your borough pride on your lapel — and not just on your sleeve.
Pintrill, the company that made emoji pins a major trend, is now
releasing “Borough Bred” pins. The brass items are in the shape of each
Big Apple borough, and come in black and white with gold and silver
details.
The popular accessory retailer has teamed up with native Brooklyn
creative Jason Adams, a.k.a. J-Frost, for the five different pins. Each
features a map indicating the boundaries within the borough for local
community boards — the representative bodies responsible for addressing
community needs.
Founded in 2014, Pintrill is a lifestyle accessory brand founded by
Jordan Roschwalb, whose childhood love of collecting pins turned into a
succesful business venture. The company’s pins and collaborations have
been selling fast on retail sites.
The borough-themed pins are available now for $12 each at pintrill.com.
