1. Set SMART goals:
If you don't know where you are going, you are going nowhere.
2. Learn to trust your gut instinct:
Are you always overtaken by what others think or say? Value your own intuition; don’t ignore it.
3. There is a fountain of creativity within us that may never have been tapped or used to its potential. Try to unearth and hone your creativity. Develop your gifts and talents. When you spend time doing what you love, you are inspired, fulfilled and energised.
4. Acquire new knowledge by reading to build your knowledge, skills and expertise in an area of your choice.
5. Develop yourself:
Attend carefully chosen learning events; use the opportunity to network and make friends.
6. Nurture your mind and body. This will give you more energy, knowledge, ideas, physical and mental strength. Work on your lifestyle. Many diseases can be averted through a healthy diet, exercise and sleep. Health is wealth.
7. Do you have a bucket list of things that you want to achieve, places to visit etc. Write down your top 20 and try to do one of each month.
8. Just be:
Stop. Do nothing.
Appreciate each moment. Rest. Relax. Sleep. Live a little.
