Trump Singles matchmaking site is for President-elect supporters only

If you like long walks on the beach, building walls, Russia and don't believe in global warming — there's a dating site for you.

TrumpSingles.com will match Donald Trump supporters with like-minded political singles in favor of the President-elect.

Founder David Goss of California thought of the idea after hearing of a similar site for Democrats. He also learned his Republican friends were having a hard time on dates once politics were brought up — especially when it came to Donald Trump.

"If people are being demonized for their views and having a hard time on their dates, we wanted to take that whole part of it out," Goss told The News.
"Sometimes it's tough to date when you're a Trump supporter, so we're making it easier to find each other, who are like-minded and have the same political views," Goss, 35, said when discussing his site on Fox and Friends after it first launched in June.

 

"The Trump Single is just a fun-loving person. It's not anybody that's different from anybody else. We just have our views and when we stick to them and we're proud of them and we're not willing to give up on them just to date somebody," he continued.

The site isn't new, but recently started picking up steam now that Trump will be sworn into office on Jan. 20. Since members have only been active for seven months at most, there are not any married couples yet, but Goss said the company is hoping to help the first lucky couple with their wedding.

The matchmaking site had more than 23,000 members as of Tuesday morning and the numbers kept rising, according to Goss. TrumpSingles.com comes with a price tag of $19.95 month — which is up nearly $15 from when it first launched last summer.

"It's been something that we weren't expecting," he explained of the site's success. "We're glad to have a service that is actually helping people."
So, the next time you ask someone how they met their partner — it might have all began with a simple love for Trump.
